Dates

The next set of dates isn’t up yet.

Autumn and spring routes are being planned now. Tell me roughly when you’d like to come — and whether there’s anything I should know about access — and you’ll hear about the dates before they go up here.

What to bring

Shoes or boots you don’t mind getting muddy, and a coat that can take a shower. A bag if you want to carry anything home.

I bring the tea, the printed handout, and spare hand lenses. You don’t need a field guide, a licence, or any prior knowledge at all.

Getting there

Every route gets an honest access note before you book — the surface underfoot, the gates, where the benches are, and what the toilet situation actually is. If a route won’t work for you, I’d rather tell you than have you find out on the day.

BSL interpretation on request, large-print handouts as standard, and routes adapted where they can be. More detail on the accessibility page.

A group gathered round a trestle table spread with wild garlic, bottles and a pestle and mortar, listening to Willem.

Ask about a walk

Tell me whether you’re after a public walk, a private group, or a booking for your organisation, and I’ll come back with dates.

So Willem can reply to you.

Rough numbers, a rough date, and anything you want me to know about access.
